For men
Walk in worried, walk out with a plan.
PVT's men's service covers confidential STI screening, testosterone assessment, erectile difficulty, premature ejaculation and HIV prevention, led by a doctor in a private room.
Most men put this visit off for months. Once you are in the room it becomes an ordinary medical conversation, and it usually takes less than the full half hour. You leave with tests ordered and a plan you understand. All orientations are welcome here, and screening covers throat and rectal swabs where your history calls for them.

Why people come in
If any of these sound familiar, they are worth one conversation. All of them are common, and all of them are workable.
A recent encounter is on your mind
A slipped condom, a new partner, or just not knowing. A screen turns a week of quiet worrying into an answer, usually within three days.
Something feels off downstairs
Discharge, burning, a sore or a lump. Most causes are simple to test for and quick to treat, and looking at it early keeps it that way.
Erections are not what they were
Erectile difficulty almost always has a findable cause: vascular, hormonal or psychological. It is also worth checking because it can flag heart health early.
Tired, flat, and not yourself
Persistent fatigue with low libido can be low testosterone. A morning blood test settles it either way, and both answers are useful.
Finishing too fast
Premature ejaculation affects up to one in three men at some point. Behavioural techniques, medication and topical options all work.
You want to stay negative
PrEP reduces the risk of getting HIV by around 99% when taken daily. If a possible exposure already happened, PEP within 72 hours is urgent.

No. The rooms are unbranded, your file is protected by POPIA and medical confidentiality, and the invoice is issued by Dr D Moodley Inc with standard consult codes. If you pay and do not claim from medical aid, no record leaves the practice at all.
Neither. You book directly, pay R650 upfront by cash or card, and receive an invoice you can claim back from your own medical aid if you choose to.
It depends on your history, which is the point of the consult. A typical panel covers HIV, syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhoea and hepatitis B, with trichomonas, mycoplasma genitalium and lesion testing added where relevant. Samples are urine, swabs or bloods via Lancet.
No. TRT is prescribed only when symptoms and two morning blood tests both confirm a deficiency, and after a safety baseline. If your levels are normal, we tell you so and look for the real cause of your symptoms.
Yes. One consult can cover screening, erectile difficulty and hormone questions together, since the history and blood tests overlap. That is usually more useful than treating them as separate problems.
